Bus stops and bike seats

On a warm August day last year, Third Fuse writer Phil McNamara took a day off work to run around the eastern and north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide (his old stomping grounds) to leave free copies of our first publication, Red Reflection, at bus shelters as a way of (yes, promoting the book but also) saying thank you to all our public transport users for doing something for the environment and climate change. A good part of Red Reflection was actually written by Phil on the 864F as he travelled to and from town each day when he worked for the National Trust!

Phil is also hoping to finish off our ‘bus stops and bike seats’ initiative with a bike ride into Adelaide in the coming months to leave more free copies of Red Reflection on bike seats to say thanks to all the commuters doing something for the environment by choosing to ride into work or university (coming soon!).
