Back in 2015, I wrote a poem called, ‘Men cry in cars’. It was about how we perceive the role of men in society and how men tend to hide their emotions. So, with Father’s Day approaching I thought it a good opportunity to write a blog about the role of fathers and grandfathers in how we cope with our two biggest global environmental crises (climate change and habitat loss) and how these crises might be causing our fathers and grandfathers to grieve during this significant time of global change.
At the Third Fuse we try to practice what we preach by incorporating sustainable living, art and a respect for nature into our everyday business lives.

Birdwatching is one of our most popular hobbies but it doesn’t necessarily translate that all birdwatchers have bird conservation attitudes or behaviours.
Bird conservation organisations, like Birds SA and Birdlife Australia, are so important because they support people to participate in the hobby they love while also supporting birdwatchers to understand the threats facing many bird species in Australia.

Apart from your usual running gear, all you need is a shopping bag – cotton rather than plastic because plastic can split – and a pair of gloves. I also use a GPS tracker on my mobile…
